中国茶的基本知识安化黑茶中出现长虫问题是否仍可饮用

有不少朋友问，茶上都有一些小虫子，这茶还能喝吗？也有一些客人在买茶叶时问，这茶这么多“虫眼”，还能喝吗？对此，估计很多朋友都一知半解不太了解。

关于“茶虫”，我们应该要分为两种。一种是大家经常看到的白色小虫，另一种是灰黑色的小虫。实际上我们看到较多的是白色小worms，它们只是喜欢吃包装棉纸的“paper worms”，而另一种灰黑色的worm才是真正的“tea worms”，据了解这种“tea worm”只吃tea leaves，可惜在市场上见过这种worms的人寥寥无几。

Paper Worms

In the market, it's not difficult to find some holes on the paper of An Hua black tea or Pu'er tea. These holes are called "bug eyes" by insiders. These "bug eyes" are caused by paper worms. Fortunately, this kind of small worm only loves to eat paper, so they have little impact on the quality of tea. Although it says like that, but one must deal with them. To get rid of these "paper worms", you can first use a brush to sweep away the tea leaves and then store the tea in a well-ventilated and dry place.

Tea Worms

The real "tea worm" is gray-black color, its lifecycle is short-lived and usually dies inside the tea leaves after a long time becomes part of them. According to some old Tea Masters' sayings,"the 'tea worm' is extremely beneficial." In some high-quality black teas there will be such appearances; they specialize in eating good teas and die after eating them; according to legend such teas brew out nice-looking soup colors、good mouthfeel、and good retention ability.

It seems that whether we can still drink this kind of tea depends on what type of insects we see: if they're white ones that don't harm our precious black or green leafy delights just enjoy your cuppa! But remember always check your purchased products for any signs before consuming!
